About Us
Up the Garden Bath is an award winning Community Interest Company in Peterborough. We work with local businesses to reduce waste and landfill. We take unwanted waste materials that would usually end up in landfill such as old bathtubs and upcycle them into educational garden planters and accessories.
Our upcycled bathtub planters are installed into schools, community centres/areas & residential care homes. We use our upcycled bathtub planters to educate people all about recycling, gardening & sustainability. Since launching in February 2020, we have installed over 70 upcycled bathtub planters across Cambridgeshire & delivered our educational workshops to over 30,000 children of varying ages & learning abilities.
Gardening has been proven to be beneficial to mental and physical wellbeing and we aim to make gardening accessible to everyone regardless of their demographic or physical abilities.

School budgets are constantly being reduced & it is becoming harder & harder for schools to fund outdoor activities. To ease the burden on school budgets we encourage local businesses to help.

Our FabRE Fabric Plant Pots are innovative, kind to the environment, zero waste and go from letterbox to plant pot. Our award winning community project Up The Garden Bath normally upcycles old baths into educational planters for schools, community centres and community areas. During the various lockdowns of 2020 & 2021 this was impossible as most of our key markets were closed or inaccessible.
